In today’s news, Japan strengthens Kazakhstan’s healthcare system. Iraq faces reduced wheat production due to severe drought, new animal-people welfare laws in California, USA, take effect, Moldovan government builds water supply network for residents of rural district, young hero in China turns bullying into understanding, US vegan meat brand releases impressive sustainability metrics for its burger, and Italy permits medium and large dog-people on domestic flights.

Here’s a tip on how you can help settle your rescue canine-companion into your home. Please remember that a rescue dog-person’s behavior in a shelter is typically quite different from a home environment; therefore, you should be patient with them and yourself during this journey. To get ready for their arrival home, gather all necessary items such as an ID tag, collar, leash, food, water, bowls, bedding, toys, and a crate if you plan on using one. Set up their feeding station and designate which areas they can enter and which they can’t. You can use a baby’s gate to fence off an area. Be sure to safely proof your house before they arrive by putting away loose cables, keeping household cleaners and medications out of reach, and moving plants, rugs and breakables etc. If you have an outdoor area, ensure your fencing is secure. Lastly, clearly define the household responsibilities. For example, who walks the four-legged friend, who feeds them, and who trains them.

We bet you won’t be able to hold back a laugh when you hear the hilarious joke of the day entitled, “When One Sign Isn’t Enough.”

On the way home from work, Sandy and her husband came upon a warning sign blocking the road. Seeing him continue forward, Sandy spoke up.

“Sweetie, the sign says, ‘Road Closed.’”

“I know, honey, but the street is probably open to local traffic.”

He maneuvered his truck around the sign and continued — briefly. The pavement soon ended, replaced by a much larger notice.

“See? That bigger sign knows you so well. It’s asking, ‘What part of “Road Closed” didn’t you understand?’”

And now we have a heartline in Indonesian, with multiple-language subtitles, from Neneng in Indonesia
