In today’s news, Japan funds Laos hospital upgrade to strengthen regional healthcare. Australia undergoing increased tree mortality due to global warming, Poland bans animal-people fur factories, Egypt’s new public library combines knowledge, technology, and accessibility, Myanmar-born author still writing at 90 after finding her calling at 70, more than half of Canadians moving toward vegan diets, and US emergency teams perform skillful rescue of deer-person stranded on icy lake.

You may know that as we get older our drinking and eating habits change: for both humans and animal-people. Here is a little aging-management tip for you. Hydration plays a crucial role in maintaining senior dog-people’s health. Water is vital for a wide range of bodily functions like digestion, circulation, and temperature control. Hydration is even more critical in dog-individuals with dementia or cognitive dysfunction, conditions that significantly affect memory, behavior, and overall well-being. You can easily support their overall health by making sure your dog-elder always has access to clean, fresh water. Those with dementia may not consume as much water because they may forget where their water bowl is; therefore, elevate their water bowl to a level that is somewhere between their elbow and shoulder to make it more visible and accessible. Simply monitoring their water consumption and making necessary environmental adjustments can help address these issues.

Here is a joke to relax your bones. It’s called “Home Repair, Nature Edition.”

Linda’s old house needed constant TLC (tender loving care). Luckily, her husband Mark was handy and did most of the repairs himself. One afternoon, Mark crawled under the house to prop up some sagging floorboards. Suddenly, Linda heard a muffled shout— and Mark came flying out on his hands and knees at a speed she didn’t think was humanly possible.

“What happened?!”

“I reached down to grab the crowbar… and it slithered out of my hand!”

“Wow, honey, I know you have deep faith in God and are inspired by Moses, but why did you need to ask Him to transform the bar into a snake?”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Malay, with multiple-language subtitles, from Nurul in Malaysia
