Melodies emanating from the duduk are able to touch our hearts in a profound way that makes us yearn for something bigger than ourselves, for that ultimate love we are always searching for, the true love that every soul desires. The Duduk is one of the oldest double reed instruments in the world. Capable of a wide range of melodies and with its powerful depth of sound, the duduk can create lively rhythmic dance tunes or expressive soul-wrenching songs. In 2005, UNESCO proclaimed the Armenian duduk and its music as a Masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
