Today, we celebrate Earth Day and will feature the kind, loving nature of animal-people, their heroism and kindness towards other co-inhabitants.

When this blind dog-citizen accidentally fell into the family pool… help was not far away. Her sibling, Caipirinha, ran to help the 14-year-old pitbull-person in the water. All of it was captured on security cameras. Caipirinha, a rescue dog-individual, first circled the pool. Then Caipirinha nudged Luna towards the stairs. But Luna kept swimming in the wrong direction. Caipirinha didn’t give up. Neither did Luna. Eventually, Luna made it to the steps. And Caipirinha helped pull her best friend out of the water.

“Flames broke out here at the small Rolanda apartments at about 3am Saturday reducing the inside to rubble. If it weren’t for the warning of a little pig, those inside could have been killed.”

She couldn’t believe the whale just saved her life. “I went, ‘Oh my God. He was protecting me.’ The whale got me to the boat. He’s making sure that I’m OK! There are a lot of accounts of humpbacks hiding seals underneath their pectoral fins from killer whales. Just never heard of them doing it for humans. These animals have this altruistic behavior. They will risk their lives to save another species like a fireman would run into a house on fire.”

Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has often spoken of the innate loving nature of our animal-people companions, and how they will sacrifice themselves to save their human companion. “And my dog(-people) are precious to me, more than gold, diamonds, rubies, anything, you name it. Because they also protect me with their lives. It’s truly like that. […] Your dog-, or your cat-, or your pet-, your bird(-people), they all shield you to some degree, whatever they can. Actually, if you knew what your dog(-people), for example, do for you, you would kneel there and hug him and her forever and cry with gratitude and love. They do things you don’t even know. They shield you with their power, whatever they have, all they have. They give all they have to you if you are in danger. They take on your disease so that you won’t die, or that it doesn’t get worse, so that it’ll be curable, if they can. But if really your time is up, of course, they can only lighten it, but they cannot go against the law of the Shadow Universe. When you have to go, you have to go. But if they still can, they’ll do anything for you. If you knew what they can do for you or what they would do for you, you would never ever treat a dog(-person) the same way. You would probably treat them like you treat God.”
