If a hundred moons were to rise, and a thousand suns appeared (in the sky), even with such light, there would still be pitch darkness (ignorance in the mind) without an Enlightened Master.
All other rituals, deeds are just worldly affairs (a show); meeting and seeking refuge in the Holy saint-guru (Enlightened Master), one is saved (liberated). One may contemplate on the Simritees, Shaastras and Vedas (holy scriptures), but it is only by meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord (obtained from an enlightened Master), one is saved and carried across (by His Grace).
