Learn about the ingenious invention of Polish design student Ms. Roza Janusz and witness her acceptance of the Shining World Invention Award! As part of her graduate project at the School of Form in Poznań, Poland Ms. Janusz invented an eco-friendly, edible type of food packaging from an organic membrane called SCOBY(for symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast), using the same fermentation process as used in the manufacture of the popular probiotic drink, kombucha. So maybe the packaging production will no longer litter the environment and it will even enrich it.
