Sharing Progress in China in Terms of Compassionate, Noble Lifestyle

Greetings, Dear Master and the saints of Supreme Master TV! An initiate sister in the vegan industry forwarded me some news about the growth of vegetarianism in China. I got to know that the Chinese vegetarian industry is booming, and I’m happy to share it with everyone.

The first good news is that there exists a hospital in China with a vegetarian outpatient department. On November 28, 2025, the “Vegetarian Nutrition and Health Management Center” was launched at a top-tier hospital, Beijing Jian Gong Hospital. The vegetarian department supports medical insurance reimbursement, and the doctors are all vegetarians. Vegetarian personal media have been widely reporting that vegetarian lifestyles are beginning to be understood and respected, and that plant-based diets have officially received recognition from the professional medical field as healthy lifestyles.

The second news is that domestic vegetarian festivals are growing vigorously. The vegetarian expos in 2025 included Vegetarian Food Asia in February, the China Xiamen International Vegetarian Food and Organic Products Fair in April and October, the 10th Cross-Straits (Yixing) Vegetarian Cultural & Green Life Expo in May, the 13th CHINAFIT Vegetarian Expo in July, the Asia Pacific Vegetarian Food Expo in August, the China Vegan Summit in September, the 10th Hangzhou Vegetarian Culture Festival in November, the 8th Beijing Vegetarian Culture Festival in November, (Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao) the Greater Bay Area International Plant-Based Food Expo, and so on. During the vegetarian expos, vegetarian forums were held at the same time, where professionals discussed the outlook for the vegetarian trend, environmental protection, and topics of the sort. There were lots of delicious foods and diverse events at those vegetarian festivals. They were highly welcomed by the public. Some of them had a few hundred exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors. Among them, the Hangzhou Vegetarian Culture Festival was vegan and organized by the government department, “Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce.” In addition to the vegetarian festivals, there are also vegan markets like the Dali Vegan Ark Market and the Beijing Anxin Vegan Market.

The third good news is still in the preparation phase: The first documentary film that promotes veganism and environmental protection (from China) is expected to be released in 2026. May the film be released smoothly and awaken more people to adopt a vegan diet.
