Let us continue with selected teachings of Quetzalcóatl (vegetarian), which emphasize on the innocence of a child and how we should find our place in the Sacred Plan of God, working with sincerity and devotion.
WHY ALL THIS?
“And one day a little boy approached Him, and said to Him: I have come down to play on the Earth, but tomorrow, when I grow older, this dress withers, I will return to my home, you know? My home is in one of the hundreds of stars that fill the sky. And looking at Quetzalcóatl with sad eyes, he asked: Why is it that my brothers, the other children who came before me, don’t know how to play anymore, don’t know how to look at the sky, neither walk on the earth, nor keep the rivers crystalline, or the mountains clean? Don’t they know how to talk to the little birds, or to fly in their company beyond the limitations of this dress? Why don’t they want to become friends to animals, or become their brothers? And when our mother Nature gives its fruit to us, they don’t wait until they become ripe on the trees, neither do they let the flowers carpet the fields, nor let the wind talk to us bare. Why don’t they take the example of the trees and the canes surrounding the lakes? Why, instead of killing, don’t they give life? Why, instead of keeping, don’t they give? Why do they stop the flow of the river of life, making it impossible for it to water our fields of evolution, and instead prefer its water to get rotten and turn foul-smelling with decomposition and selfishness? Today I went to play with the butterflies, but they ran away from my side, because they mistook me for my brothers. Today I went to fly with the little birds, but they flew away from me, because they felt afraid in their hearts. Today I went all the way down to the valley to play with my brothers, the animals, but they moved away from me, as if from an enemy. Today I went to see my reflection on the water, only to find a river of filth and sewage, and I was unable to drink from its waters or talk with its ripples. Tell me, why all this? And, looking at him sweetly, He said to him: From this Earth also we have to build up a star such as yours. Don’t become dormant, because if you go to sleep, your star will go to sleep, and then, how will it be born on the Earth? And, isn’t it by any chance a Master, the one who knows he is a child within an old body, and who knows how to talk to the child within each one of his brothers? Keep going, brother of mine. A visitor from a civilized star. The germ of continuity. The hope for a better future.”
ONE HUNDRED TIMES BLESSED
“Blessed are those who give, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who give away that which they still want, because they are coming out of the influences of this world. Blessed are those who preach Love, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who keep it within their hearts and make it through their hands, because it is the very Mutual Creator God who is talking and doing through them. Blessed are those who praise God, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who knowing His ‘Plan for the World’ work towards its accomplishment. Blessed are those who open their eyes and contemplate the world, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who, by opening their eyes wider, contemplate the Universe for whom the world is just a spot, and who, by realizing their own smallness, become great. Blessed are those who clean their ears from the empty voices of this world, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who through listening, become deaf, to be able to be with the deaf and understand them until they become clean. Blessed are those who preach in the temples with their heart, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who prepare themselves in the ‘Doctrine of Unity,’ and preach it to the world with their actions. Blessed are those who follow God, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who understand that God doesn’t have a name, neither shape nor attribute. How could a sun-beam be put into a calabash? These ones will not become fanatics, because they will see that each religion has its own way of seeing God, and that all the ways are true, even if not the Truth. Blessed are those who discover the teachings Life brings to them each moment, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who make them their own, and later spread them, without keeping anything for themselves. Blessed are those who know the laws regulating the existence of shapes, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who make them themselves and who externalize them harmonized in their Being. Blessed are those who get to discover the cause of all things through knowledge inherited, but one hundred times blessed are the ones who, through innumerable efforts start new ways of understanding, and open new windows towards the Light.
Wake up, brother! Look for your position in the sacred Plan of God, and do your work with sincerity and devotion. Because this is what we came to this World for, and with the collaboration of each one we may accomplish ‘our mission.’”
