(Her outfit looks great, right?) (Beautiful!) (How beautiful, so wonderful.) (How did you organize all of this?) I don’t know, I just … I worked for the Red Cross in Germany. And then the Aulacese (Vietnamese) refugees came. I had to translate all the documents about the refugees in the world. And then I watched TV every day, all the suffering and war. I didn’t feel like I could enjoy anything in life. And so, I read the scriptures. The Buddha and Christ, they tell us we have to forsake the world for Heaven. So, I tried to do that, to see if I could find Heaven, and then I could help other people to find Heaven. That’s how it started. It’s the suffering of the people and the animal-people that brought me to do this job. If there was no suffering, probably I wouldn’t be sitting here right now.
