So her blood was spilling on the ground. And from that spilled blood sprang out this vegetable, this herb that’s called rau răm, a Aulacese (Vietnamese) coriander. Some plants are poisonous. It could be because the soul or the spirit of that dead being embedded into that plant or that tree can’t be liberated because of their ignorance, because of their attachment through ignorance to this physical world for some reason or for someone, so they can’t just be liberated.
